Light Green Field

This watercolour was painted back in 2003 and although it has been in several exhibitions it has never sold.
I really like it and I am happy that I still have it to enjoy.

Like many of my paintings the inspiration came from a field where I regularly ride my bike, the green grass in the foreground with various flowers is separated from the brighter field beyond by an assortment of trees, bushes, fence and gate. In the background is a suggestion of a house and more trees.

I think it deserves a better frame and a new home!
