A view I have painted many times at different times of the year.
I liked the long evening shadows and the stubbly bank running diagonally across them. Also I like the sense of space from the foreground to the farm buildings in the middle ground to the distance of the Oxfordshire countryside.
The red earthen long shadows give a nice warm evening feel to the scene.
