Evening, South Park, Oxford
Killing time before a hospital appointment at the Churchill in January we watched the sun go down over Oxford from the top of South Park. When we looked back the trees at the top of the park were an amazing orange colour against a dramatic sky!
I decided to do this small oil sketch prior to painting a larger version in acrylic to get the feel I wanted.
